Beautiful old vintage International Horse Show Programme from 1955 at White City Stadium. 
In lovely condition for being nearly 70 years old! 
These types of programmes are rare as so many have been thrown away. 
Shows slight wear along the edges and the staples have rusted, and one corner has a crease, but still overall condition is really good. 
Great thing about vintage programmes is after to you have had a read through and enjoyed the old advertising and photos, they look fantastic up on the wall framed. Brilliant in a hall, office, boot room or tack room. Several along a wall look particularly good. Great conversation piece, and has that wonderful old book smell.
This one does have pencil writing on the edges on the inside. Whoever had this in their hands on the day of the competition was really into the show jumping as they wrote down which riders had faults and how many. Marks like this I feel really add character. 
Makes a wonderful gift for any equestrian fan.
